Meals on Wheels
Supported Access to Independent Living (SAIL) provide a Meals on Wheels delivery service available town-wide. This service runs from Monday to Friday, delivering meals between 12 noon and 2 pm. All meals are freshly cooked each day.
Please order before 11 am to make sure you recieve your meal on time.
Menu
Main meals
Meals are £2 each. You may need to re-heat your meal.
Monday
- Quiche, salad and new potatoes/chips
- Yorkshire puddings, mince, vegetables and potatoes/mash
- Eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding and beans/tomatoes
Tuesday
- Yorkshire puddings, pork, vegetables and potatoes/mash with gravy
- Chicken curry, rice and chips
- Quiche, salad and chips
- Eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding and beans/tomatoes
- Toad in the hole, vegetables and potatoes/mash with gravy
Wednesday
- Yorkshire puddings, beef, vegetables and potatoes/mash with gravy
- Shepherd's pie, potatoes, vegetables and gravy
- Quiche and chips
- Eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding and beans/tomatoes
Thursday
- Liver, vegetables and potatoes/mash
- Gammon, eggs, pineapple and chips
- Eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding and beans/tomatoes
- Yorkshire puddings, lamb, vegetables and potatoes/mash with gravy
Friday
- Corned beef pie with garden peas/mushy peas and chips/potatoes
- Quiche, salad and chips/potatoes
- Eggs, bacon, sausage, black pudding and beans/tomatoes
Sandwiches
Meals on Wheels are able to prepare sandwiches, with any filling you would like. All sandwiches are £1.30 each.
Jacket potatoes
Meals on Wheels deliver jacket potatoes with salad any filling you would like for £2 each.
Deserts
Each desert costs 75 pence.
