Drop-in service for deaf people
A new sensory support service has been set up to help deaf and hard of hearing people in Hartlepool.
The service can help with everyday tasks such as making telephone calls, arranging appointments and translating letters.
The two hour sessions are held every Monday morning, between 10 am and 12 noon, in the Central library. You can stop by at a time that suits you. If you need more time, for example if you would like help with benefit or tax credit applications, the adviser may make a private appointment with you for a later date.
