Community Travel Support Network
The Community Travel Support Network is a network of volunteers and volunteer organisations in Hartlepool trained to help young people and vulnerable adults travel independently and safely around the town.
Volunteers and volunteer organisations display the 'Safe on the move in Hartlepool' logo. They:
- provide a safe and friendly place to stop
- can understand and give reassurance to a person
- will listen and provide help and advice
- will make a phone call on a person's behalf
- can provide information such as bus timetables, bus numbers or directions
