Adult Social Care
If you decide that you, or a relative or friend, need more help to live at home, you may be able to get help from Hartlepool Adult Social Care.
If you would like support from Adult Social Care, you will need to contact the Duty Team at the Civic Centre.
A Duty Social Worker or Contact Officer will talk to you about your needs. They can give advice or suggest things that may help you. They will also be able to talk to you about self-directed support - the new system of social care which puts you in control of your support.
Contacting Adult Social Care
You can contact the Social Care Duty Team by letter, telephone, textphone, or e-mail. If you want to speak to someone in person, come in to Reception at the Civic Centre and ask to see a Duty Social Worker. If English is not your first language, we can provide a translation service.
