Exercise for Life

The Exercise for Life GP referral scheme offers specialist group exercise programmes in the community, to support those with a wide range of health problems.

All introductory courses run for 10 weeks.  Once you have completed the introductory course you will be given further opportunities to carry on with regular supervised exercise on the Stay Active programme.

Most people taking part in Exercise for Life have been referred by their doctor. However, you may be able to join the scheme yourself, depending on the complexity of your health problems.  If you would like to speak to the scheme co-ordinator, telephone 01429 861866.
