Benefits checks for carers
Local charity Hartlepool Carers, working with Hartlepool Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), offers free benefits checks for unpaid carers in Hartlepool.
A carer is someone who looks after a relative, friend or neighbour who cannot manage without help because of sickness, age or disability. If you are a carer and are not sure what benefits you may be entitled to, the CAB Benefits Check could help you.
Hartlepool Carers hosts a CAB Benefits Check every Friday. Carers are invited to book an appointment with the benefits advisor any time between 10 am and 2 pm. Appointments are available to any carer who is registered with Hartlepool Carers.
