Repairs to rented homes
If you live in a rented property, you must contact your landlord or housing association to report any repairs. Depending on your housing association, you can report repairs by telephone, email, through a website or even by text message.

If you live in an Anchor property, you should talk to your Scheme Manager about repairs and maintenance. If you do not have a Scheme Manager, telephone the Anchor Repairs Line on 0845 1080131.

If you are a Durham Aged Mineworkers' Homes tenant you can report a repair on the Association's website. You can contact the Customer Services Team by telephone on 0800 043 2642.
Endeavour tenants can report repairs on the Endeavour Housing Association website.
You can also visit your housing office in person, write in, or telephone Endeavour on 01642 796 200 during office hours. You can report emergency repairs outside of office hours by telephoning 01642 726 050.
If you live in a Guinness Trust property, you can report a non-emergency repair online. You can also telephone your local repairs desk free of charge on 08000 85 35 85, or email northeastcustomerservices@guinness.org.uk.
You can report emergency repairs outside of normal office hours on 08450 577094.
Home Housing tenants can report a repair in their Home Housing office or by telephoning Home Housing's North East regional office on 0845 606 3030.

If you live in one of the Hospital of God's almshouses and need to report a repair, contact the Estates Office on 01429 870247.
Housing Hartlepool tenants can report non-emergency repairs online.
You can report emergency repairs by telephoning 0800 052 5399.
If you live in a Housing21 property, you should report any repairs to your Court Manager. If your Court Manager is unavailable you can telephone Housing21's Customer Services team on 0345 607 0272, or email customerservicesadministration@housing21.co.uk.
If you live in a Railway Housing Association home you can report a repair on their website. Alternatively, speak to a staff member, telephone 0800 028 7428, or write to:

You can also report a non-urgent repair to your Railway Housing Association property by texting 07508 526708. Make sure you include:
- your name
- your address
- a brief description of the repair
- your contact and access details
